One of the things that disappointed me when I found about the Sims 4 traits was that even adults could only have three main traits (not counting reward traits).I thought this was a bit unrealistic as actual adults have many more than three main traits.

- More Slots I'm not sure if I would post this here, but I had an idea. Instead of having so many 'slot mods' for the furniture, windows, etc., what if there was a mod where you could use the alt key to place objects on the many surfaces?

I feel the same way, three personality traits isn't enough. All the reward traits have nothing to do with a sims' personality. They pretty much just make things easier. They don't really effect how your sims behave. I really like the Sims 3's setup better in that regard. You had a lot more control over your sims' personality, especially when it came to teens and child. Children are only allowed one personality trait in the Sims 4, which really makes them really one dimensional characters. - not enough for me
I don't think we should have too many however, because than some people will start picking the exact same set of traits over and over again, and not only will the game be less interesting, but our Sims will be less unique. I think adults should be able to have at least five personality traits like they did in the Sims 3, no more than seven however. - @Damienf519 I think if people don't like to have 5 traits they should be able to add and delete slots, like how you can have up to 5 different everyday wear. But their should be a minimum and maximum, 3 min 5 max I recon0

If they don't give us more trait slots to start off with, here's an idea I came up with, that might be a nice compromise.

- Hello I think that too!!! 3 slots are way too low, the Sims' personallity is very limited, and somethimes I just want to add a less important trait, like Clumsy, and I have to give it up. I wish EA would make an update that there will be at least 5 slots and even more could be really awesome, it'll really give the Sims a real and big personallity. I really hope EA will do it in the future.
- Well there's actually 4 slots - however, that is only the aspiration specific traits. Overall Sims only have 3 Traits choose-able in CAS but these Traits actually don't define Sims as much as Reward and Aspiration Traits do, you can get over 20 Traits for a single Sim, you can get every Trait in the game but are limited to 3 in Create-A-Sim Traits.Live your life to the fullest, don't wait for a miracle to happen, be the miracle to make things happen.
Sometimes your creativity is limited where you use it most, but you can use those limitations to inspire new forms of creativity you may never have thought of beforehand. - 0

Since the last patch, there have been numerous reports about broken items with custom deco slots (bookcases, tables, shelves, etc.). The problem appears to be the addition of an apparently arbitrary limit on the number of bones an item can have. This change has impacted packages with custom added slots, causing these items to crash the game.
Before this patch, there was no reported limit on the number of deco slots that could be added to an item that functioned in the game. Since this patch, no mod can have more than 195 bones in the rig resource. This limits the number of slots that an item can have and still function in the game.
The result is that many CC items are now causing the game to crash. People have been making Sims 4 CC items with more than 195 bones for years. Thus, this change is causing a very large number of items to crash the game. Fixing this on our end would require all creators to modify all the creations they've made for the last several years.
What we're hoping is that EA will back out this possibly unintended change so that the years of work our community has put in on an enormous amount of content does not require creators to fix all of these many items. There is no graceful way for us to fix this with a batch fix, and making these items game-safe would reduce their appeal to players (it would require removing slots that players want). I would like to emphasize that this change is impacting a very large number of CC packages.
If examples of the problem are needed, please let me know, and I will provide them.
